1. Shah Rukh Khan to Host a Televised Version of TED Talks

Indian television needs a wave of change and it seems like Shah Rukh Khan is set to bring just that. The informative and educative TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) Talks are reportedly going to be televised, and SRK is said to be the host of the series. Before this, SRK has hosted shows like Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? and one season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

It’s a televised version of TEDTalks. I have been made to understand that it’s something that has not been done before and they want to try out this concept. People will share stories about changes in society, in life — whether it’s about the climate, dangerous diseases or to help empower women — and all of this will be integrated. There are some beautiful stories — both Indian and international — which the team is planning to get on one platform and do a nice mix of Hindi and English speakers. I feel it will be a niche show.

2. Badrinath Ki Dulhania Trailer Promises Oodles of Desi Fun & Drama

The much-awaited trailer of Badrinath Ki Dulhania is out and it promises to be a fun ride. Both Varun Dhawan - with his Bhojpuri accent - and Alia Bhatt - chanelling a strong-willed belle - go desi for this rom com directed by Shashank Khaitan.

Armed with what promises to be a dhamakedaar rendition of the superhit number Tamma Tamma, the film revolves around the love-stricken simple but emotional Varun trying to charm his lovely but sassy dulhania Alia. The trailer gives hints of a small town backdrop, crackling chemistry between the lead pair, generous doses of fun and emotional drama along with all the trappings of a film produced by Karan Johar.

Things seem to be going pretty well for Beyoncé and Jay Z now. We know Beyoncé rarely discusses her personal life in interviews, but her last year’s album Lemonade is said to have autobiographical lyrics, which told the tale of a struggling relationship with infidelity and reconciliation.

But the American singer stole everyone’s heart as she flaunted her baby bump in her Instagram post.
