Thanks to AIB’s podcast with Shah Rukh Khan, we now know that some of SRK’s important life lessons as a star were given to him by none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself.
The Raees actor was at his candid best on the chat show and revealed that he learnt two important rules of stardom from Big B himself. Both actors were cooling their heels backstage before a live stage show when Shah Rukh asked Bachchan about what’s the last thing that he does before he goes on stage.
Shah Rukh, who says he spends 10 seconds just ‘becoming one with God’ before going on stage, was probably expecting a deep, philosophical reply, got this in response:
Yes, it was as simple as that and Shah Rukh Khan swears by that rule now.
Bachchan’s warning to SRK was that - once you are a big star, “What ever you do, will always be in the wrong, so just fold your hands and say sorry.”
We’re sure Shah Rukh has realised that the hard way.
