Salman Khan has appealed to the Supreme Court with a request to be heard before any order is passed by country’s apex court based on the appeal made by the Maharashtra government on his 2002 hit and run case.

Salman who was earlier convicted for culpable homicide not amounting to murder was acquitted of all charges by the Bombay High Court on December 10, 2015.

His latest move is being seen as a precautionary measure to combat any trouble that he might face, thanks to Maharashtra Government’s challenge to the Bombay High Court’s acquittal verdict.
