1. Ranveer Sings Pardesi Pardesi on the Streets of Switzerland

Ranveer Singh, the ultimate entertainer, decided to take to the streets of Switzerland to sing hit track from Raja Hindustani, Pardesi Pardesi. The actor who will next be seen in Befikre opposite Vaani Kapoor has been on a Swiss holiday since he wrapped up the film’s shooting. But the actor, known for his energy, decided to confuse onlookers as he sang the cult classic.

The actor also shared this enviable picture from his trip.

2. In Pics: Kangana Ranaut Preps for Her Role in Simran

Kangana Ranaut flew to the US to begin prep for her next with Hansal Mehta’s Simran. According to sources, the actress will reprise the role of a real life bank robber. The actor reportedly plays a housekeeper in the film and is loosely based on real incidents in the life of an NRI in the United States, Sandeep Kaur, who has been convicted of robbing four banks in America and is now serving time in prison.

Kangana’s sister Rangoli posted photos of the actor as she attends workshops for the film.

The actress is also likely to have an accent in the film, like she did in Tanu Weds Manu and Queen.

3. Sidharth Malhotra Runs For a Good Cause

Actor Sidharth Malhotra encouraged youngsters to focus on being fit when he was invited as a special guest at IIT Bombay’s Run For Your Campus.

The actor began his career as a student in Student of the Year and fit right at home as he spoke to the students and even taught them some of his moves from Kala Chashma.

I think it is a great initiative to get all of you out here in the rains. I am really excited to be here. I think fitness is extremely important... You should work out, run in the monsoons, dance with your girl, make them dance...

4. Priyanka Chopra Receives Fempowerment Award

Priyanka Chopra has recently been honoured with the women achievers award popularly known as Fempowerment Women Achievers.

Filmmaker Shobha Kapoor and choreographer Saroj Khan have been honoured with the award for their accomplishments in the chosen fields.

Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting for the second season of her American show, Quantico in US. She will also be seen in Hollywood film, Baywatch playing a negative role with Dwayne Johnson.

5. A Flying Jatt Mints Rs 20 cr at BO

Tiger Shroff starrer A Flying Jatt released on Janmashtami and garnered better business than its opening day of Rs 7.35 crore. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 20.45 crore.

The film, directed by Remo D’Souza, was expected to have performed better at the box office. Remo in an interview with The Indian Express revealed why the film is special and must be watched.

It’s the story of a simple superhero who is young and human. He derives the superpowers accidentally. There is also a strong mother-son bond that we have showcased in the film. There is also a message about global warming and protecting our environment that we have touched upon through the film.

But the film, though having a good first half, failed to impress at the box-office.
