1. Priyanka-Deepika’s Friendship Going Strong
So, we finally know that all the talk about Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra’s friendship turning into rivalry due to their coveted Hollywood projects is totally wrong. Proof enough was Priyanka’s tweet which was a reply to Deepika’s xXx co-star Ruby Rose who complimented PeeCee’s stunning hair. In return, Piggy Chops wished the team good luck and asked Rose to check with Deepika on her opinion about desi girls having great hair. Sorry to disappoint but no cold war here!
2. Akshay Kumar Shares Rustom’s Second Poster
Akshay Kumar had shared the first look of his new film Rustom around the end of February, creating a buzz since the film reportedly deals with the infamous Nanavati case of 1959, in which a naval officer KM Nanavati was tried for murdering his wife’s lover. Akshay shared a second poster of Rustom with the message:
Rustom also stars Ileana D’cruz and is directed by newcomer Tinu Suresh Desai.
3. Amitabh Bachchan Starts Prep for Shoojit’s Next
No, we aren’t assuming anything but we’re going by Mr Bachchan’s self declaration. He posted a photo on Twitter that clearly said that he has already started preparing for his next film, which will be produced by Shoojit Sircar. After all, Piku (his collaboration with Sircar) won him many accolades.
Although the name of the film isn’t out yet, what we know is that National award winning director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury will direct it and it will also star Taapsee Pannu. While we can’t be sure if the photo Bachchan’s posted is his look in the film, we sure think he looks hot!
4. Irrfan to Play the Lead in No Bed Of Roses
Irrfan Khan will be playing the lead role in Bangladeshi director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s film No Bed Of Roses. The film will be released in English and Bengali and is being produced by Bangladesh’s Jazz Multimedia and Kolkata’s Eskay Movies, while being co-produced by Irrfan Khan himself. Also acting alongside Khan will be popular Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha.
5. Shraddha Gets Her Return Gift from Tiger
The Baaghi co-stars totally capitalised on their birthdays to publicise their film. How lucky! While Shraddha Kapoor unravelled Tiger Shroff’s look in the film on his birthday, on March 2, Tiger returned the favour by sharing her look in the film the next day, March 3, which was her birthday. The two are definitely promoting the idea of ‘being a rebel’. By the way, whose look do you like more?
