Ajay Devgn has played his share of righteous characters fighting for justice.
He’s back in familiar territory with his upcoming film Raid. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film is inspired by a true story and revolves around the longest raid conducted by the fearless Deputy Commisioner of Income Tax, Amay Patnaik, in 1981 Lucknow. “Heroes Don't Always Come In Uniform” is the film’s tagline.

The makers of Manikarnika, a biopic on the valiant Rani Laxmibai, on Tuesday said the movie neither distorts historical facts nor does it portray anything objectionable.
The comment comes after Brahmin outfit Sarva Brahman Mahasabha demanded the makers share complete details of the film's story to rule out any tampering with facts.

Hrithik Roshan is back to work with his newest project, Super 30. The film is based on the life of Anand Kumar, a gifted mathematician who tutors underprivileged students to help them get admitted in premier institutes such as IITs. Phantom Films has just shared the actor’s first look in the film. Bearded and de-glam, Hrithik seems to have nailed his look just right in the Vikas Bahl film.
The actor had been prepping for the role since last year, and had even met Anand Kumar, who has his reservations about a handsome actor like Roshan playing him in a film.

Akshay Kumar is proud of his coming film PadMan – a film highlighting awareness on menstrual hygiene. The actor says he always wanted to support socially relevant cinema, but couldn't due to lack of funds.
The actor also added that there isn't a single commercial film on sanitary pads, not even in Hollywood, as people shy away from discussing the topic in public.
"I always wanted to work and make such films but I was not a producer during that time. I didn't have enough money, but now I can. My wife told me about Arunachalam Muruganantham and then we met R. Balki. So we thought about making this movie," Akshay said while promoting PadMan on Monday.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher today said his Twitter account has been hacked. The 62-year-old actor, who is currently in Los Angeles, said he got to know about the breach from his friends in India and has alerted the microblogging site about the incident.
