Music icon Prince’s body was cremated and a private memorial service was held in Minnesota on April 23rd. The late singer’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure said the small service was attended by the rockstar’s family, friends and fellow musicians.
No more details were released but it was suspected that the memorial service was held at Paisley Park, Chanhassen, Minnesota. Bassist Larry Graham were spotted at the singer’s studio compound along with Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson and brother-in-law Maurice Phillips.
An autopsy was completed on Friday. A representative for the Medical Examiner’s Office said there were no obvious signs of trauma to his body and nothing to indicate a suicide. Toxicology tests results will not be available for several weeks.
The pop legend, renowned for his stamina and prolific musical output, died suddenly on Thursday at his Paisley Park estate outside Minneapolis. He was 57.
