Actor Prabhas is set to do what nobody else has ever imagined doing in Indian cinema. For his role in the second part of Baahubali, which is currently on the floors, the 37-year-old will weigh approximately 150 kg, which is 30 kg more than how much he weighed in the first part. All set to join the sets later this month, Prabhas has been working out extensively over the last few weeks to achieve the goal which, according to many, is insane and impossible.
Apparently, Prabhas was supposed to start working out much earlier, soon after the completion of the first part. However, a shoulder surgery, which he underwent last year, forced him to be out of action for at least six months. “He was advised to not lift weights and hence, he had to wait for his shoulder to completely heal. It was due to this shoulder injury, that the shoot of the first part of Baahubali was delayed by a few months which in turn delayed its release,” the source added.
Meanwhile, the shoot of Baahubali 2 is going on track. With the inclusion of new characters, the project is garnering a lot of attention. The latest addition to the cast is actor Ajay Ghosh, who played a menacing inspector in Vetri Maaran’s critically acclaimed Visaaranai, which is currently playing in cinemas. Ajay will be playing a dreaded dacoit in the film.
