Director Omung Kumar’s latest biopic Sarbjit, which is based on the true story of the late Sarabjit Singh released last Friday. The film got a below average rating from most critics and it also got a dull opening at the box office.
On Friday, the film collected only Rs 3.69 cr and increased to Rs 4.56 cr on Saturday taking its two-day total to Rs 8.25 cr. Sunday will have to see a big jump for this film to work for the producers.
However, people from within the industry have only good things to say about the movie. Bachchan senior even wrote a letter to Randeep Hooda, who plays the character of Sarbjit, congratulating him on his performance.
