Nimrat Kaur is making waves in the West with Season 2 of ‘Wayward Pines’

Airlift actress Nimrat Kaur is sure making it big in the West. Although she is not creating as much splash as Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Nimrat has been signed up for a role in the second season of the M Night Shyamalan-produced Wayward Pines, a spooky TV show starring Matt Dilon and Melissa Leo. This is her second TV project after the Emmy-winning TV show Homeland.

In the series, Nimrat plays Rebecca Yedlin, an architect. Speaking to DNA about the series, the actress said:

I am super excited because this is a genre that I have never worked in before and also found this premise very very exciting. I am playing the part of a girl called Rebecca who’s an architect and it’s very mysterious and you know like cards that unfold episode after episode and towards end of the season you realise who really she is and what her role is in the world they live in.
