Netflix grabbed the streaming rights of India’s biggest blockbusters - Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in a deal worth $4 million, which translates to around Rs 25.5 crore.

Netflix is keen on both acquiring content and creating originals for the Indian audience. The streaming giant has three original creations on its slate for India at the moment. Besides Sacred Games, which will be headed by Saif Ali Khan in the cast, they have announced the filming of Selection Day by Aravind Adiga and Again a detective story by Marisha Mukerjee.
