The Irish rock band U2 is all set to perform in Mumbai in December and it looks like the band members are as excited as the music fans in India. In a promo video, band members Bono and The Edge can be seen discussing their upcoming performance. This will be their first concert in India.
In the video, The Edge asks Bono, “What are you going to be doing on 15 December 2019?”
To which Bono responds, “I am going to be in Mumbai, India. I am going to be in DY Patil Stadium at a U2 show.”
With noticeable excitement on his face, The Edge exclaims “wow!” and asks Bono what the night’s going to be like. Bono says, “Certainly one of the best nights of my life.”
India is going to be the final destination of U2’s tour celebrating their 1987 album The Joshua Tree. The tour is called The Joshua Tree Tour. U2 comprises frontman Bono, guitarist the Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.
With the Joshua Tree Tour 2019, the band will also be performing in Singapore, Seoul and Manila for the first time ever. The concert in Mumbai is produced by Live Nation Global Touring and brought to India by BookMyShow.
