The Quint brought World Music Day to life with a live performance by a quartet of employees.
With a singer, a make shift percussionist, a keyboard player, and a guitarist, the group sang and played some older and modern classics.
The group started with Baate kuch ankahee si from the film Life... in a Metro, before moving to Lata Mangeshkar’s Ajeeb dastan hai yeh, and then transitioned to Yeh hai Bombay meri jaan from the film CID. The musicians changed pace by performing a rendition Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, before ending with the classic Beatles’ number Let it be.
