The makers of Sanju released a new song, ‘Kar Har Maidaan Fateh’ which shows Sanjay Dutt’s difficult journey as he battles his drug addiction.

Thanks to Rajkumar Hirani, we caught glimpses of the star cast in the many posters that were released. Here we get to see the stars - Manisha Koirala as Nargis, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and among others in action. The song shows Ranbir Kapoor, playing the role of Sanjay Dutt, fighting and eventually beating his addiction. All the while having his family by his side.

Sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, the song captures the mood of the film with Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal and others making an appearance as well. Take a look:

While the majority of the album has been composed by Rohan-Rohan and Vikram Montrose, AR Rahman has composed two tracks for the film. Rajkumar Hirani disclosed that Vidhu Vinod Chopra's dissatisfaction with one of the songs in the album led them to approach the Oscar-winning composer.

I was curious to know how the magical team of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani created these blockbusters together. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call to be a guest composer on this one.

Sanju releases on 29 June and is the first Bollywood authorised biopic on a living actor.
