The makers of Made in China dropped the first song from the album and it is a recreation of Falguni Pathak’s iconic garba number ‘Odhani Odhu Odhu Ne Udi Jaaye’. The song has been sung by Darshan Raval and Neha Kakkar, with music by Sachin-Jigar. With Navratri around the corner, the song also features glimpses of Garba moves.
Take a look at the song.
The track features Rajkummar Rao as an innocent Gujarati entering the setup where Mouni Roy is dancing to the tunes of the garba number. The song has dropped right in time for Navratri and should appease all the garba fans, even though most of the lyrics have been changed from the original song.
The trailer of Made in China was released on 18 September, and showed Rajkummar as Raghu, a budding entrepreneur.
The video opens with Paresh Rawal telling Raghu (Rajkummar) that he will become a star entrepreneur one day. Rawal’s word of advice, “The need of a customer is the lock and when to discover the key, there’s no stopping you.” Thus begins Raghu’s journey. He goes to China, where he meets a sexologist (Boman Irani). They start a business to “satisfy” desi customers.
While it does feel that sex-related themes have become a favourite of filmmakers, the trailer does leave us in splits. Rajkummar Rao owns the character of Raghu with ease. Also, we are all looking forward to Gajraj Rao, who never fails to impress us.
