KK believes in being heard, not seen. The last time we saw the talented singer in a music video was probably in Yaaron, the most popular buddy song of our generation. Krishnakumar Kunnath has always had a terrific range and though he started out by singing ad jingles, he has earned himself a comfortable spot in Bollywood, one that doesn’t even require him to market himself through public appearances. From Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (Tadap Tadap) to Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Tu Jo Mila), KK has come a long way without having been ‘seen’ much. But he’s right, all he needs is to be heard.

We’re celebrating KK’s birthday with some of his signature numbers, all of which have topped our playlists at various points in time. So birthday boy KK- thank you for the music, the songs I’m singing.
