Days prior to the launch of what is being touted as the biggest river festival of India, Angaraag Mahanta aka Papon has released the titular theme song Namami Brahmaputra to ‘viral’ acclaim from netizens.
The Hindi version of the song features the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam and eleven other stellar personalities.
Since its release on march 21, the Hindi version of the song has already amassed over 3 lalh views on YouTube, with the Assamese version is close at its heel with 2.8 lakh views.
The song was released as part of the mega cultural festival that has been organised under leadership of the Chief Minister of Assam across 21 districts along the Brahmaputra in its entire stretch from Sadiya to Dhubri from March 31-April 4.
