Kangana Ranut is on battle mode in the teaser of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansiwhich released on Gandhi Jayanti (2 October). The teaser shows Kangana fight like a lady, on the field, as she tackles soldiers from the British army attempting to invade her kingdom. The fiesty queen sits on her throne with her child in her lap with equal élan.

Fans swarmed Priyanka Chopra and her singer, fiance Nick Jonas in the blue city of Jodhpur. Nick arrived in Mumbai three days ago and even participated in a celebrity football match with Ishaan Khattar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Kunal Kemmu amongst others.

They were spotted at the Mumbai airport leaving for Rajasthan on 2 October, Tuesday and then at the grand Mehrangarh Fort. The grapevine is abuzz with speculation - are they location hunting for their wedding?

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s VFX extravaganza 2.0 is being touted as India’s most expensive film yet. This S Shankar directed film is made on a (approximately) Rs 500 crore budget with heavy use of visual effects and animation.

So what went into the making of this ‘epic’ film, which involves flying cellphones, a no-nonsense Chitti, and an unrecognisable antagonist in prosthetics? Besides 3000 technicians and 1000 VFX artists, of course.

4. Amid MNS Threat, Mumbai Police Offered Me Protection: Tanushree

Tanushree Dutta, in her latest statement, claims that MNS party has threatened her with a violent attack. In response to this, Mumbai Police has reportedly offered the former actor 24-hour protection.

Raj Thakrey’s MNS party in an interview given to a leading daily (Navbharat times) has threatened me with a violent attack. This on top of other threats issued to me from Nana’s side.

5. Here’s What CBFC Has Muted in ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Ahead of Release

Earlier Warner Brothers had tweeted from their official handle, stating - "We are sad to announce that Crazy Rich Asians would not be releasing in India." This announcement elicited a wave of disappointment as many Indian fans were waiting with bated breath for the first contemporary English-language Hollywood movie with an almost all-Asian cast. Take heart desi fans! Warner Bros. later took down the tweet. It recently announced the India release date of Jon M Chu's smash hit film - 21 September. The seesawing continued and the release has now been deferred to 5 October.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has also cleared the film with a U/A certification and muted a few words ahead of its release in India.
