India fell in love with the golden voice of Momina Mustehsan as she sang Afreen Afreen alongside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Coke Studio season 9. And just as we started our innocent flirtations with this fresh new talent from across the border, she revealed the man who has won her over.

Though Momina wanted to keep her personal life under wraps, she admitted on social media that it was no longer feasible to do so. Ali Naqvi, her lucky fiancé, is a US based banker. The two met through their families and decided to get engaged recently.

Mustehsan also shared the news of her engagement via her Facebook page-

Hi world. Meet my fiancé, Ali Naqvi. We met each other for the first time less than a month ago, our families really liked each other and now we’re engaged.Though we wanted to keep this only between our close family and friends, and celebrate this privately and get to know each other without unnecessary hype and interference, news got everywhere. I firmly believe that everyone has a right to keep their private life to themselves, but in this case, the ball is no longer in our court.

Though she has had no formal training in music, her duet with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan became the most viewed Coke Studio music video on YouTube in no time. The 24 year old singer lives in New York City.

Twitter, Facebook and her fans might be heartbroken, but Momina is soaring in love and in the world of music too.
