After 105 days in the Bigg Boss house, Salman Khan declares Manveer Gurjar as the winner of season 10. Lopamudra Raut was the last one to get evicted from the house, after which Salman asked Bani and Manveer to step on to the stage. If you missed the episode, check out our blog for all the updates.
As destiny would have it ,erstwhile best friends Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were both in Rajasthan when the violence against Bhansali erupted in Jaipur on Friday afternoon.
One of the first calls that Bhansali received during this hour of distress was from Salman. The two were the best of friends during the making of Bhansali’s Khamoshi: The Musical (1996) and Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), but fell out when Bhansali signed Shah Rukh Khan for Devdas.
Lately there have been signs of thawing of the ice between Sanjay and Salman.
Om Swami has been a pain in the neck for Bigg Boss and all its viewers this whole season. He still hasn’t learnt his lesson though. The self proclaimed god-man has reportedly been arrested by police authorities in Lonavala, and will be detained till the finale episode is concluded.
The ex-contestant apparently threatened to vandalise the finale set if he wasn’t invited. Well, after everything he did inside the house to ‘piss’ his fellow contestants off (pun intended), he managed to annoy Salman Khan and the show’s makers with his crass behaviour too.
After his eviction, he said several ridiculous things about Salman and the show. But he also threatened to sabotage the set with the help of his followers. Now he’s not a man who should be taken seriously. But when he was reportedly spotted in the vicinity of the Bigg Boss house, the concerned channel and local authorities thought it is best to not take any chances.
So the god-man is apparently behind bars again, but this time, they’re for real. Reports suggest that he will only be set free after the show’s season finale comes to an end.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has stalled Padmavati’s shoot in Jaipur after being assaulted by Rajput Karni Sena on Friday. In a statement condemning the vandalism and attack, Bhansali said he was stopping the shoot for the safety of the crew and that there was nothing of the alleged dream sequence in the Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone-Shahid Kapoor starrer.
According to a report by Times of India, five Karni Sena activists, who were arrested on Friday for vandalising the set, were released on bail yesterday.
The Karni Sena meanwhile has refused to apologise and has instead defended their action and accused Bhansali’s bodyguard of firing at its members - a claim the police is yet to find any proof of.
