‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ Statues of Love in 10 Cities Across India

As Ekta Kapoor’s long awaited Kasautii Zindagi Kay reboot is gearing up for its premiere, the makers are pulling no stops in promoting the show. In a first of sorts, 23-ft statues of the lead characters have been unveiled all across India. The so called Statue of Love depicts the iconic image of Anurag and Prerna engulfed in her red dupatta.

'Badhaai Ho' Trailer Release

The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra’s Badhaai Ho is all set to release today. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film is touted to be a coming-of-age love story. It hits the screens on 19 October. Read more here.

Will Start Shooting With Hrithik From October: Tiger Shroff

Actor Tiger Shroff, who was last seen onscreen in 'Baaghi 2' says he will start shooting for Yash Raj Films' untitled film along with Hrithik Roshan from October next month.

Tiger Shroff was interacting with media at the launch of clothing brand 'Prowl' on Monday in Mumbai, reports IANS.

Tiger Shroff is collaborating with Hrithik Roshan in the untitled project for the first time. "I am huge fan of Hrithik sir. We have time for the release of the film. It will be released on October 2 next year," said Shroff.

Viacom 18 to Launch Kannada Movie Channel

To expand the horizon of movie-watching experience on television and bring back memories of some of the iconic Kannada films, Viacom 18 network is gearing up to launch a 24-hour Kannada movie channel.

The channel COLORS Kannada Cinema will be launched on September 24.

Making the announcement, Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO, Viacom18 said in a statement, COLORS Kannada Cinema is an important addition and a first in genre expansion in the regional space, reports IANS.

Vivek Agnihotri was forced to take down an abusive tweet against actor Swara Bhasker on Monday after microblogging site Twitter locked the filmmaker’s account for violating its rules.
Bhasker had slammed Kerala MLA PC George for making objectionable remarks against the nun demanding the arrest of a bishop who allegedly raped her.
“Absolutely shameful and disgusting!!!! Scum present across political spectrums and religious divides in India. Literally nauseating!” the actor tweeted with respect to George’s statement, reports PTI.

Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher wonders why great films on India are being made only by foreigners.

In Toronto for the premiere of Australian director Anthony Maras' debut feature film "Hotel Mumbai" based on the September 2008 terror attacks, Kher said: "This is fascinating that the film 'Gandhi' was also made by a foreigner. Now this ('Hotel Mumbai') film has also been made by a foreigner. Thank you, Anthony, for making this movie. This film is a tribute to everybody who has lost a dear one anywhere in the world."

Reports IANS, without naming the person, Kher said: "Somebody had made a film on it (Mumbai terror attacks), but it was atrocious. That person wanted to cash in on the tragedy."

Singer-rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about her fight with Cardi B at a Fashion Week event in New York City on Friday, calling it "mortifying and humiliating".

Speaking on Beats 1's Queen Radio, Minaj also addressed the claim that she had made disparaging remarks about Cardi's newborn daughter.

"It's all lies. I would never ridicule anyone's child. (It's) so sad for someone to pin that on somebody... I would never talk about anyone's child or parenting... These lies are ridiculous," she said, reports PTI.

Imran Khan Gets Into Direction

"Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na" actor Imran Khan has donned the director's hat for the first time for a short film titled "Mission Mars: Keep Walking India".

"Mission Mars: Keep Walking India" is part of Johnnie Walker The Journey campaign. Imran has written the film, which is produced by Dharma 2.0 (a venture by Dharma Productions), reports IANS.

"It has been an enriching experience writing and directing this tribute to India's commitment to progress, and for this to be backed by Johnnie Walker - The Journey and Dharma 2.0 made it even more special," Imran said in a statement.
