Kannada film actor Raghava Uday who tragically died while performing a stunt on 7 November was a rising B-star in the South Indian film industry. He was best known for his negative roles in Kannada and Telugu films.

Uday’s Telugu film Jakkanna released in July earlier this year. More recently the actor was seen as a villain in the “romantic horror” film Danger Zone in September.

Uday was active on social media and used both Twitter and Facebook to keep his fans updated on his projects.

Some of his last posts on Facebook were related to his new film Masti Gudi. The actor had put up this video of his stunt scenes from the climax of the film.

His last picture posted on FB shows him taking a break while shooting with stunt man Anil Kumar who also died while performing an action sequence at the Tippagondanahalli lake on Magadi Road near Bangalore.

The Kannada film industry has lost an emerging popular villain with the death of Raghava Uday.
