Teen Choice Awards 2016 were a crazy affair. Winners took home surfboards trophies amidst some crazy spoofs and clever speeches. But the award ceremony this year also tackled two serious issues- gun violence and presidential elections. We’ve got the big highlights for you right here-
Justin Timberlake received the ‘Decade Award’ from basketball legend Kobe Bryant at the Teen Choice Awards 2016. The singer-actor gave a heart-warming address to teens across the world. He spoke about how choices we make in our teens matter in the larger scheme of things through life.
He also gave the late heavyweight champion Mohammad Ali a special tribute. Without directly talking about the problems of African-American killings and Islamophobia plaguing the world and the USA, Justin urged teens to interact with those who may ‘look a little different from you.’ Watch his inspiring speech here:
Teen Choice Awards 2016 co-hosts John Cena and Victoria Justice spoofed the US Presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. This mean act made us ROFL to say the least.

Chloe Grace Moretz won the Teen Choice Movie Actress award for the film Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
The actress is a youth icon and is allegedly dating David Beckham’s son Brooklyn.
Chris Evans won the award for Teen Choice Best Actor 2016 for his hugely popular act as Captain America in the sci-fi fantasy Captain America: Civil War.
