Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) jogged her short memory to keep up with the search for Nemo in the epic Pixar feature Finding Nemo. But she’s back with an agenda of her own, and in a sequel to the classic, she ventures into the secrets of the ocean to find her own family, in the eagerly awaited Finding Dory. The film’s second trailer just came out and it promises to be just as endearing as its prequel.

In Ander Stanton’s Finding Dory we’ll get to meet several new sea creatures, like a chameleon octopus (Modern Family’s Ed O’Neil) and an enthusiastic whale shark (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Kaitlin Olson). Reports suggest that the likes of Diane Keaton, Idris Elba, Ty Burrell (Modern Family), Michael Sheen and Dominic West will also be popping up at some point in Dory’s journey. Returning for the eventful ocean odyssey are friends Marlin (Albert Brooks), Nemo (now voiced by Hayden Rolence who replaces Alexander Gould) and Willem Dafoe’s Gil. Even Mr Ray’s (Bob Peterson) back for the ride. Dory’s desperate search for her family is set to Peter Gabriel’s Solsbury Hill.

We have no doubt that this one will be a tear jerker just like Finding Nemo. Pixar took home the Oscar for ‘Best Animated Feature Award’ for Inside Out this year, and with Finding Dory, it seems to be paving the way for it’s next win. Get ready to fill up the theatres for this much awaited sequel on June 17th.
