Come February 20th and supermodel Cindy Crawford will turn 50. She told United Airlines magazine, Rhapsody, that she is ready to move on from modeling. Crawford is one of the most-photographed women in the world since she was in high school, and her reported retirement was big news.
But the next thing we saw was a clarification on her Instagram post.
I don’t look the same that I did 25 years ago, and I don’t want to disappoint. Maybe that’s the Midwesterner in me. I want them to like me,” she told Hemispheres.
Crawford became one of the first supermodels in the 80s and 90s, appearing on runways for the topmost labels like Christian Dior, Chanel and Valentino.
She made $6.5 million in 1994 alone, when she topped a Forbes list at age 28, and became one of the top paid models in the world.
