Honoured with the iconic black lady, were unsuspecting actors like Kalyani Priyadarshan who won the Best Debut (Female) Telugu. The legendary A.R. Rahman received the Best Music Album for Mersal, but the highlight of the awards ceremony was Vijay Deverakonda who won the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) for Arjun Reddy.
