‘2.0’ Trailer: Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar in an Epic Battle

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s much awaited 2.0 trailer has been launched. This S Shankar directed VFX extravaganza was scheduled to release on Diwali last year, but had to be postponed owing to the heavy use of visual effects and animation in the film.
2.0 is a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (Robot) which also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Rajinikanth is reprising his role as Dr Vaseegaran and also Chitti, while Akshay Kumar plays his nemesis, Richard. Chitti is brought back to life when a gigantic avian monster who rises to power after taking over all the world’s mobile phones. What ensues is of course an epic and visually spectacular battle.

The film marks Akshay Kumar’s Tamil debut. 2.0 also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey, and is releasing on 29 November.
