Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, who turned two on Monday, is now a member of the Armenian Apostolic Church - the oldest national church in the world. Kim’s baby was baptised at the Armenian Apostolic Church in a traditional ceremony in April. Kim who is pregnant with their second child shared a few pictures of the baptism ceremony on Twitter recently.
The baptism took place following the family’s recent visit to Kim’s homeland Armenia, which saw them take a pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the special ceremony.
Kim’s sister Khloe was also in attendance at the ceremony as she was named little North’s godmother.
The ceremony lasted for an hour in both English and Armenian. Baby North dozed off for a while during the ceremony.
The following day, at 5am, the family visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The couple touched a marble slab within the historical site, which is identified as the place of both the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.
