Netflix Announces ‘Stranger Things 4’, Drops a Hint!

The official Twitter account of Stranger Things just dropped the announcement that Stranger Things will be back for a fourth season. But that’s not all they revealed. In a 45 second clip shared by the makers, two important facts are revealed.

Firstly, that Stranger Things would be getting a fourth season and secondly, that the setting of the show has changed for the new season. The video says, “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.”

The highly-anticipated third season of Netflix’s science fiction series Stranger Things dropped on 4 July.

According to Netflix, Stranger Things broke the streaming giant’s own records as 40.7 million “household accounts” watched the show in the first five days of its release. Which is more than any other Netflix series or film. And as of 9 July, 18.2 million accounts had already finished the season.

“ .@Stranger_Things 3 is breaking Netflix records! 40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch — more than any other film or series in its first four days. And 18.2 million have already finished the entire season.”

Stranger Things is created by the Duffer Brothers. It follows the story of a small town, called Hawkins, that is haunted by a dangerous monster. The monster is discovered by Will Byers (Noah Schnapp). The series chronicles the efforts of Hawkins’ residents as they try to stop the monster from taking over the place. The show is set in the 80s.

Stranger Things stars an ensemble cast including Millie Bobbie Brown, who plays Eleven, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, Joe Keery, David Harbour and more.
