An adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic drama Little Women, Ekta Kapoor’s Haq Se set in Kashmir marks Rajeev Khandelwal’s digital debut. The web series tells the story of four sisters – Meher, Jannat, Bano and Amal, and how rising fundamentalism in the region topples their dreams.
As he reunites with his Kahiin Toh Hoga costar Surveen Chawla, the trailer clocks in 1 million views.
Directed by Ken Ghosh, the series has been shot in real locations of Kashmir. Rajeev Khandelwal revealed to a national daily that they had to cheat shoot it in other hilly terrains closer to Kashmir. Due to the unrest in the region, the series could not be entirely shot there.
