Netflix has announced that it will be screening 6 international titles at the Jio MAMI 21st Mumbai Film Festival 2019. The OTT lineup for the festival will include 5 films and 1 documentary which will be screened from 17-24 October across several venues in Mumbai.
Here’s the list of Netflix originals that will be screened at MAMI.
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran. Sheeran is also a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. The film spans decades, chronicling one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa.

The director of The Two Popes, Fernando Meirelles, will be presenting the film at the festival. He’ll also be conducting a masterclass. Mumbai will be Fernando Meirelles’ first stop in Asia for the promotion of his film.
