If you’re a Bigg Boss fan, you probably think you know everything that goes on inside that house and behind those cameras. Wait till we burst your bubble with these five things about the reality show, that will leave you in shock.

1. Salman’s Moolah Making Show

Every season of Bigg Boss is followed by intense speculation over whether or not Salman will host the next season. But somehow the makers always manage to get him back, probably by upping the stakes each time. Salman only shoots once a week for the show and apparently takes home approximately 6 Crores for each episode. This is roughly three times more than what he was paid last season. The actor even has a script writer, who he doesn’t pay much bhaav to and pretty much does whatever he likes. A DVD of every episode is sent to him and after watching that he decides how he wants to go about it. Well, now you know who the real boss is.

2. The Bigg Boss House is Haunted

According to inside sources, the Bigg Boss house is haunted. There have been a few paranormal activities experienced by contestants, as well as the Bigg Boss crew. Apparently, many have actually experienced the shadow of a woman sitting on their chests, giving them a feeling of being choked. Some of the crew members and contestants have even had fleeting visions of what seemed like a woman, standing in the corner of the room. Imagine how cool it would be if one of the cameras actually caught this shadow. What a ghost can do for TRPs, not even Salman can match.

3. A LOT of the Actual Controversies and Bitching is Edited Out

Cameras are all around the Bigg Boss house. You might think that you can see everything that goes on in there but let me break it to you, you only see what the channel wants you to see. So, if contestants get too intimate, unfortunately you’ll only get to see a sobered down edited version of it. Or maybe nothing at all! They’re more liberal with abuses but if the contestants get into nasty talk about Salman and his personal life, it is simply chopped off. Though that doesn’t mean that Salman Khan won’t find out and take their case about it on national television.

4. Cleaning Staff Does All the Tidying Up, Not the Contestants

You might see all the contestants working really hard to keep the house clean, but that’s mostly fake. They do a little bit here and there, but all the major cleaning up in the house is actually done by hired staff. And since the contestants are not allowed to have any dialogue or interaction with the outside world, rooms that need to be cleaned are closed down by magnetic gates.

5. No Blind Spots Here

The cameras installed inside the Bigg Boss house leave no blind spots whatsoever (Photo: YouTube/Colors TV Special)

Bigg Boss is the only show that uses around eighty cameras! No other reality show has gone to that extent to make thing ‘real’. In fact, there are two types of cameras installed inside the house- robotic and track cameras. The robotic ones are placed inside the rooms while the track camera are installed outdoors. Contestants are under complete supervision of these eighty cameras. Jaayein toh jaayein kahaan?
