Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra’s Badhaai Ho has opened to rave reviews. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film seems to be a fun story around a late pregnancy and is off to a great start at the box office. The film has earned Rs 7.29 crore on Day 1 and is expected to gain more on the long weekend, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

An actor has accused fashion photographer and Bollywood film producer, Atul Kasbekar of sexual harassment. “After gathering a lot of courage, against the advice of my well wishers, I've finally mustered the courage of anonymously share my encounter with Shoumik Sen and Atul Kasbekar from the set of #CheatIndia. #MeToo @IndiaMeToo,” she wrote on Twitter.
She went on to narrate an uncomfortable encounter in the presence of Atul Kasbekar and screenwriter and director of Cheat India, Soumik Sen.

Debutant Sanjana Sanghi, who marks her debut in Mukesh Chabbra’s Kizie Aur Manny had reportedly accused her co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput of sexual harassment in July. According to reports, Sanjana even spoke to director Chabbra, who simply “laughed off the matter”. The report also stated that Sanjana’s parents came on set to speak to the director who reportedly asked said to “keep a strong gut if their daughter was expecting to have a long run in showbiz”.
After these allegations, many are speculating that Sushant Singh Rajput’s verification badge appears to be have been revoked by Twitter. The actor also took to social media to clarify with screenshots denying making Sanjana feel uncomfortable. And also stated that his verification has been missing since 5 September.

After the high of Mersal’s (2017) success, ‘Ilaya Thalapathy’ (young leader) Vijay is back with Sarkar this year, which he promises will be a politically loaded film. Director A R Murugadoss joins him for the third time, after Thuppakki (2012) and Kaththi (2014), both of which were blockbusters. In fact, Thuppakki was a sort of comeback for Vijay.

Fox Star Studios on Friday suspended Mukesh Chhabra, Bollywood's popular casting agent, from his directorial debut Kizzie Aur Manny as he has been accused of sexual harassment.
"As a responsible organisation, Star India takes any allegation of sexual harassment of women at workplace very seriously. Hence, Fox Star Studios has suspended the services of Mukesh Chhabra, director of our film Kizzie Aur Manny, which is under production, till the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of M/s Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company concludes its inquiry into the allegations against him," said a post on the official Fox Star Hindi Twitter handle.
