Directed by Tony DSouza, Azhar chronicles the life and controversies of the former captain of the Indian cricket team.

Emraan, who is playing the titular role, was mobbed by fans gathered at the dargah to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. The real and reel Azhar prayed and offered a chadar inside the holy shrine.
