Dressed in blue kurta and jeans and armed with his guitar – branded with the logo of his ‘Divide’ tour – Ed Sheeran cast a spell on Mumbai on Sunday, 19 November.
Sheeran told the crowd he was excited to be in Mumbai. “I think I got the most enthusiastic crowd over here when I came to Mumbai two years ago. I was longing to be here, to see you guys,” the hitmaker sai as he took the stage at around 8pm.
He kicked off the concert with ‘Castle on the Hill,’ and followed it up with hits like ‘Eraser’, ‘Bloodstream’, ‘Happier’ and ‘Perfect’
Sheeran also made his love for India known by slipping into a Team India jersey. If there’s anything India loves more than Ed Sheeran, it’s cricket!
Speaking to ANI, ED Sheeran said he envies Indian singers.
He also added that his next visit to the country wouldn’t be for work, but for ‘proper’ sightseeing.

Sheeran will not lip-sync on stage so fans in Mumbai will not be disappointed as they were when pop singer Justin Bieber dropped in for a little bit for his gig! And unlike Bieber, his “demands” aren’t extravagant either.
He just expects Nando's Hot Peri-Peri Sauce and dry fruits in his dressing room. Pop artist Lauv will also be performing before Sheeran takes the stage.
As for the main act, fans can expect a set list that encompasses all the major hits including "Eraser", "Perfect", "Hearts Don't Break Round Here", "New Man", "Dive", and, of course, the uber catchy "Galway Girl" and crowd favourite "Shape of You".
