While Salman Khan fans are eagerly awaiting bhai’s next film Sultan, the latest rumour is that Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in the film has been edited out! Well, that’s a big reason for Shah Rukh and his fans to be pissed, but how can Salman let this happen?
Apparently there’s a scene in Sultan where Salman’s character meets a celebrity. The film’s makers reportedly decided to use footage from SRK’s earlier visit to the film’s set, to meet the actor and good friend Farah Khan. Sounds like team Sultan was hoping to get ek teer se do nishaane.
While it’s not clear if SRK didn’t give the film the permission to use that footage, or if it just didn’t make sense in the film. But SRK’s ‘cameo’ if you want to call it that, seems to have been edited out of the film.
While fans are loving the fact that Shah Rukh and Salman are friends again, they are likely to be disappointed about not getting to see their favourite superstars together on the big screen. For now, we’ll just have to make do with memories of the last time they shared screen space 16 years ago for Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega.
Well, at least this time there’s no room for ego clashes.
