The first trailer of the Hindi dubbed version of Disney’s The Lion King is out, and Shah Rukh Khan lends tons of power to it with his voice. While Shah Rukh is the voice of Mufasa in the film, his son Aryan Khan is lending his voice to Simba.

In the first trailer of the Hindi version, we hear Shah Rukh giving lessons in being a good king to young Simba. We don’t get to hear Aryan’s voice in this one though.

Shah Rukh took to his twitter account to share the trailer and said, “Delighted to be a part of this global legacy. In Cinemas 19th July. Yaad Rakhna. #TheLionKing disneyfilmindia.”

The trailer opens with Shah Rukh behind the microphone voicing the character of Mufasa saying, “Simba, Main hamesha tumhare saath hoon aur hamesha tumhare saath rahunga (Simba I am always with you and will always be with you).” And his voice makes the trailer very effective.

The Lion King releases in India on 19 July.
