Marvel Studios announced the release dates for its Phase Four movies on 3 May. While glimpses of some of the films had been revealed earlier, this new sneak peek divulges details about the highly anticipated film The Eternals. If that wasn't enough, the teaser also revealed Angelina Jolie's look as Thena in the film.

The Eternals is directed by Oscar award-winning director Chloe Zhao and stars an ensemble cast also consisting of Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry and Don Lee. The glimpses from Zhao's directorial showed Angelina's Thena wielding a light sword, while Hayek, who plays the role Ajak, can be seen on horseback. In the comics, Thena is the warrior who took over leadership of 'The Eternals' when Zuras died but has at times been turned against them by the Deviants.

The video titled 'Marvel Studios Celebrates the Movies', featured montages of the Marvel Cinematic Universe spanning the past few years. A majority of the video recalled the wildly successful Avengers: Endgame with a small snippet of the audience reaction to one of the film's most iconic scenes. This recap was followed by a peek into Black Widow's life, played by Scarlett Johansson.

Simu Liu also made an appearance as Shang Chi, the first Asian Marvel superhero. The film's trailer was released in April last year as a gift on the actor's birthday. Speaking about his role in the film, Liu said to Huffpost, "I think seeing yourself represented in that way can have a profound impact on how you view your place in society, your cultural identity and what you are capable of achieving,” he added. “I’m honored that I played a small part in this fight, and I’m ready to bear that torch if and when it is asked of me.”

Marvel's recent hype-reel also confirmed two new titles including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (the sequel to Black Panther) and the upcoming sequel to Captain Marvel which is titled The Marvels. The movie will feature Brie Larson's Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Iman Vellani's Ms Marvel (Kamala Khan) teaming up.
