‘Logan’: Wolverine Claws out at Rs 17 Crore in Opening Weekend

Fans are giving Hugh Jackman’s last and final Wolverine film, Logan the perfect farewell. The film just received one of the biggest opening weekends of all time, globally.

Logan collected Rs 17.10 ($2.5 million) crore at the box-office over the weekend in India. According to a report in Deadline, Logan has gained $238 million globally.

The film has, reportedly, flown past expectations as it tears apart its competitors at the box-office.

Logan marks the end of Hugh Jackman’s role in the X-men franchise. Up till now, he has played the character in 9 out of 10 X-men films.

Logan is directed by James Mangold, and also stars Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen.
