When Deadpool released a couple of years back, it proved to be a turning point for actor Ryan Reynolds, who starred in the film as the wisecracking Wade Wilson. Deadpool aka Wilson doesn’t take the superhero genre seriously even as he ticks all the superhero boxes. The film was hailed as the funniest superhero film ever. Now Reynolds is back with Deadpool 2, where his nemesis is Cable (Josh Brolin), a time-traveling cybernetic mutant soldier. The makers have released what they promise is the last trailer of the film before it releases on 18 May.
As acerbic as he is funny, Deadpool makes us chuckle through high-octane action scenes even as he and his associate go on LinkedIn to hire superheroes for that final face-off with Cable. We will let that sink in.

The first trailer of Deadpool 2 sees Wilson spoofing Justice League and Toy Story, before bringing the focus on the lethal Cable and the roller coaster action ride that you can expect from the franchise. Wilson still wisecracks, but it is Cable who gets more footage. And yes, there are loads of mutants.
