The wait for millions of Chiranjeevi’s fans to see their matinee idol once again on the silver screen has come to an end. The megastar will soon be seen sharing screen space alongside his son Ram Charan, in his next Telugu outing, which is yet to be titled. According to director Srinu Vaitla, Chiru, as he’s fondly called by his fans, will feature in a 15 minute cameo role in the film.
“The role will be a treat to watch for Chiranjeevi fans. We are yet to shoot his portion and we plan to complete it soon. It will be a 15 minute cameo appearance,” said Srinu Vaitla, who has teamed up with Ram Charan for the first time.

Nearly 70 percent of the film has already been wrapped up. Ram Charan will be seen as a stuntman in his upcoming flick, and he underwent special training in mixed martial arts in Bangkok in preparation for the role. He also learnt Thai martial arts, under the watchful eye of stunt coordinator Kecha Khamphakdee.
Rakul Preet Singh plays Ram’s love interest while Tamil actor Arun Vijay will be making his Telugu debut as the main antagonist.
The film’s first teaser was unveiled on the eve of Chiranjeevi’s 60th birthday. It is slated to hit the screens on October 15.
