Vicky Kaushal Spends Time With Army Jawans at Indo-China Border

On Wednesday, Vicky Kaushal took to social media to make a special announcement. The Uri actor shared that he is “elated” to get the opportunity to spend time with the Indian Army.

The actor, who has done popular Bollywood films like Masaan and Raazi, wrote that he would be spending some days with the Indian Army stationed at the Indo-China border at Tawang at an altitude of 14,000 ft.

In the photo, Vicky Kaushal is standing with men of the Indian Army. His hands are folded and he is smiling, as the jawans cheer him from behind. The caption reads, “Elated to be getting an opportunity to spend a few days with our Indian Army posted at 14,000ft altitude at the Indo-China border of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. #JaiJawan”

Vicky Kaushal has several Bollywood films lined up for the coming future. He will be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming multi-starrer Takht. He will also be essaying the role of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in Meghna Gulzar’s next film.

Recently, on the 20th anniversary of the Kargil War, Vicky Kaushal shared that he was honoured his film Uri was being re-released and would be screened for free across 500 theatres across Maharashtra on 26 July in honour of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The film is based on the retaliatory surgical strikes carried out by the Indian army in POK in 2016.

Recently, Vicky Kaushal also shared the poster for his upcoming horror film Bhoot. The poster shows Vicky Kaushal in a completely new look, as he seems to cry for help from a window of what appears to be a ship.

The post is captioned, “Sink into the world of fear! Presenting #Bhoot Part One - The Haunted Ship, directed by @bhanu.singh.91 . In cinemas 15th November, 2019. @karanjohar @apoorvamehta1972@shashankkhaitan @dharmamovies. Bhumi Pednekar also shared the poster and confirmed that she’ll be essaying a special role in the film.

Dharma Productions also shared some inside photos from the set of the film. In the stills, Vicky can be seen an all new avatar as for the first time, he forays into this new genre.
