Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have certainly been everyone’s favourite B-town couple, since they tied the knot last November. But now, actor Varun Dhawan has taken it up another notch - by calling them his ‘adopted parents’.
The Kalank actor had been shooting in London for his upcoming flick Street dancer 3D and had only flown back to Mumbai on Tuesday for a day, so that he could be there for the Kalank trailer release. Once the teaser release was wrapped up, Dhawan took a return flight to London. On the flight, he bumped into none other than Deepika and Ranveer, who were also travelling to the city.
In a humorous interaction which he shared on his Instagram as a story, Dhawan called the couple his ‘adopted parents’ who took ‘great care’ of him through the duration of the flight.
Playing along, Deepika said that they had made sure that they had fed him and made sure he got good sleep and basically fussed over him.
While Deepika is prepping for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, Ranveer is gearing up for ‘83’. Meanwhile, Dhawan’s Kalank which also features Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, is set to hit theatres on 19 April.
