Domestic Violence Case Filed Against TV Actor Sanjeeda Shaikh
The actor’s sister-in-law has filed a case against Sanjeeda and her family.

Love Ka Hai Intezaar actor Sanjeeda Shaikh has run into a spot of legal trouble. Her sister-in-law Zakerabanu Zakir Hussain Bagban has reportedly filed a case against Sanjeeda and her family on grounds of domestic violence.
According to Indian Express, Zakerabanu filed a FIR against Sanjeeda, her brother Anas Abdul Rahim Sheikh, and their mother, Anisha Sheikh, alleging that they tortured her.
Sunny Punamiya, Sanjeeda’s lawyer, however said: “On August 30, the Honourable Court has passed an order in favour of my client and asked the investigating agency to not take any coercive steps against her.”
Zakerabanu filed a FIR on May 29 at Sarkhej Police Station, Ahmedabad. She left her in-law’s house on May 27 after being allegedly beaten up. In Ahmedadad, where her family is based, Zakerabanu reportedly spent a couple of days in hospital to recover from the abuse.
Sanjeeda’s lawyers have counter-alleged that Zakerabanu had an uneasy relationship with her father and that adversely affected her relationship with her husband Anas. They have also pointed out that Sanjeeda Shaikh was busy shooting on the day of the said incident and not at home.
Sanjeeda Shaikh is married to actor Aamir Ali.
