Tara Sutaria, who’s currently promoting her film Marjaavaan, has revealed in an interview why she had to turn down Kabir Singh. She was offered Kiara Advani’s role in the film, and said that she had to let go of it as she was shooting for Student of the Year 2, and then signed Marjaavaan at that time.
In the interview, she said that though she doesn’t agree with the film’s misogynistic tone, she believes everyone has the artistic right to show what they want.
Talking about her debut film, she said, “I have three films coming out in my debut year. I’m grateful to SOTY 2. It didn’t do great at the box office but it still did well. It’ll always be special to me.”
The actor has been spotted with Aadar Jain at the recent Bachchan Diwali bash and finally cleared the air about the relationship the two share. “We enjoy going out and spending time together. Aadar is special to me, and we are going to be spotted at restaurants as we’re both foodies,” said Tara confessing that the two met at a Diwali party last year.
Tara will begin shooting for the Hindi remake of RX100 in Mussoorie from 15 November, in which she stars opposite Ahan Shetty.
