Subramanian Uninvites Deepika From ‘Indian Only’ Padmavati Debate

Subramanian Swamy tweets against Deepika Padukone’s regressive comment and is fairly surprised at her nationality.

As the Padmavati debate rages on, it seems that everyone wants to give their two cents to it. First, it was the Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation, Uma Bharti. Now, it is Subramanian Swamy, the Rajya Sabha MP, whose latest tweet takes a dig at Deepika Padukone.

This tweet, we presume, is in response to Deepika Padukone calling the protests against Padmavati a regressive move.

Of course, this tweet has spurred an array of tweets that claim that Deepika Padukone isn’t an Indian because she holds a Danish passport.
