Recently it was reported that Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Street Dancer 3D’s release has been postponed. While the reason wasn’t confirmed, there have been reports that it’s Varun’s rumoured wedding to his long-time girlfriend Natasha Dalal that may have influenced the release.
Digital publication SpotboyE quoted a source saying that, “Varun Dhawan has requested the director of the film Remo D'souza to shift it to next year. And the reason is his wedding with Natasha Dalal in December 2019.”
Street Dancer 3D was initially all set to release in November 2019. However, the release date was recently pushed to 24 January 2020. Taran Adarsh had taken to Twitter to make the announcement. He also shared a poster of the film featuring Varun Dhawan waving the Indian flag.
“Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Dheva and Nora Fatehi... #StreetDancer 3D will now release on 24 Jan 2020... Directed by Remo D’Souza... Second schedule currently in progress in #Dubai,” he wrote.
Street Dancer 3D reunites Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in their third dance film together. The film is directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza. It also stars Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa and Shakti Mohan.
In 1994, Prabhudeva’s iconic moves in ‘Mukkala Muqabala’, from the Tamil film Kadhalan turned him into a pop culture icon. Now the AR Rahman tune will be remixed by composer Tanisk Bagchi for Street Dancer 3D. Bagchi is known for giving a modern twist to several Bollywood classics such as ‘Humma Humma’, ‘Raat Baaki Baat Baaki’ and ‘Hawa Hawai’. The song sequence will feature a minute-long solo performance by Prabhudeva, reported Mumbai Mirror.
