Sridevi’s sudden demise left B-Town shellshocked. Stars attend the condolence meet today to pay their final respects to the megastar of Indian cinema at Celebration Sports Club, Mumbai.
Her mortal remains arrived from Dubai to Mumbai, three days after her death. Celebrities like Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Kajol and Ajoy Devgn, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Subhash Ghai, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna arrived at the venue to comfort the bereaved the Kapoor family.
Sridevi’s remains are now being taken to the Vile Parle cremation grounds, where the cremation ceremony is expected to take place at 3.30pm. Fans throng the streets outside to get a last glimpse of the first female superstar of Bollywood.
The celebs gathered in huge numbers to be with the grief-stricken Kapoor clan. The actor passed away at the age of 54 on 24 February in Dubai.
