What’s Shilpa Shinde Doing With the ‘Bigg Boss 11’ Prize Money?

The Bigg Boss 11 winner revealed her plans for the prize money of Rs 44 lakh.

Angoori Bhabhi of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai captured the imagination of many TV viewers and went on to cast a wider net with the popular reality TV show as she seized the metaphorical crown to earn the Bigg Boss 11 champ title

Shilpa Shinde told a leading daily what she had in mind in terms of her prize money of Rs 44 lakh.

“I always had thought that if I ever win the show, I will only use the prize money for other people, in my dad’s memory. And now that I have won it, I want to make a place for old people. Yes, a creche... I have seen many children (working couples, daughters or sons) have to hire a helper who looks after their parents. Instead of this, they can send their parents to the creche where they will meet like-minded and same age group people who they can chat with, discuss, play games...,”

It was believed that Shilpa Shinde had invested in a property in Malad’s Evershine Nagar but she clarified that the Bigg Boss prize money was not appropriated towards that purchase.
