Sanjay Dutt seems to have landed into trouble yet again. A Mumbai court has reportedly issued a non-bailable warrant against the actor over threats that film producer Shakil Noorani allegedly got from the underworld on Dutt’s behalf. Dutt’s lawyers however have denied that claim.
The story apparently dates back to 2002, when Dutt allegedly charged Noorani Rs 50 Lakhs as fee for Jaan Ki Baazi, but reportedly didn’t shoot for the same.
The actor has reportedly skipped two court cases in the matter already. According to new reports, Noorani now wants Dutt to repay the sum of Rs 50 Lakhs along with damages of Rs 2 Crore.
Dutt’s spokesperson has made an official statement regarding this development.
Further details are awaited. The actor is currently busy with the production of his biopic, which is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Ranbir Kapoor.
